Hello,
I am now looking for victims..eh test subjects..eh testers(!) for something new around the World of TG. The developing progress is going good, and we are soon going to need quite a bunch of people (gender does not matter) to sacrifice...no... to get them..no,Aaaah... to TEST those new functions.
You don't have to be scared, really, but there are some rules you'd have to follow.
First rule: Do not talk about what you see.
Second rule: Do not talk about what you see.
Third rule: Tell us your opinion/what could be further improved/was bad.
All you've got to do to sign up is send an mail to support@worldoftg.com with "[tester]" as subject. We'll send you further instructions as soon as the testing begins.

Hi,

during the last two months I collected testers (previous post) for an upcoming project that needs to be tested. I recieved your mails but could't answer them all. If you wrote a mail you are definitly registered as a tester.

As for the scheduling of those tests, there are some changes (obviously). As I am not doing this project alone, the timing depends on more than one human. During the past two weeks I've been having difficulties contacting my most important coworker and I don't know why. I am not getting any answer, so no further development can happen, which delays the tests.
I hope to be able to resume contact again and continue the development soon, so the tests can begin.
I honestly don't know when or if that happens (I hope he's okay).

Thank you for all your help. I'll come back to you as soon as I know more and a date for the testings is planned.

Hi,
yes, I am still around and I am still adding links from time to time. Being in the mid of my master-studies my sparetime, I can spend doing so, is greatly reduced compared to a few years back. However, especially those blogs you send per E-Mail will definitly be enlisted here. I am not checking daily or weekly, but I do check.
As for the 'tests'. There were supposed to be tests for a new version of worldoftg.com with a new look, better navigation, much bigger snaps of the blogposts, the ability sort them, even by content and much more and updates every freakin' minute instead of hours. This project is shut down for now, because the IT-responsible guy I was working with just stopped responding. I tried to build contact a few times over weeks and months, but got no answer. If you want to see how far we got, you can look here (Note: This site and the database are incomplete and won't show all blogs.). If there is a IT-guy willing to help and complete this project, you are very welcome. You get the same deal: If you finish building and maintain the site (the IT-part, not the content), you get half the income of a little future adverstising there, which can be a mid two to mid three-digit number per month, depending on advertising-partners.
I am happy, that so many people visite and use this site. You are thousands a day. Thank you for that. I love you. Have fun!

Dear readers or might I say links users,

I am still active. Even if this post grows to be years old. I am still adding links, but not as much as in the prime times of this site. This is due to my meanwhile existing job and family obligations. Every few months, I add the blogs you request to be added via form or mail. When the blog has only one post, even though the request is more than three months old, my motivations to add it are less than with blogs that post weekly or once a moth.

However, I wish to find people that help me with this site. The linklists (especially Deviantart and Comics) really need to be updated, but I clearly lack the time to do so. If you wanna help, just ask and after a short conversation about what you are willing to do, you'll get the login. Even if you just wanna add 'a few things'. And also if you wanna 'turn this site upside down' to improve it. Your login comes with a @worldoftg.com mail address.

Also, I am looking for someone to convert these blogger sites into wordpress sites. Anyone? Same deal.

Hey everyone, we are working on changing the look and feel of worldoftg.com and we have something in beta at beta.worldoftg.com so come check it out!

The plan is to move the beta site to the main site in a month or two but we need help testing and making sure all the content transfers over.

Please visit beta.worldoftg.com and use the contact page or email john@worldoftg.com about any issues or missing content. 

It is a beta so please be patient as we bring it up to speed and get it running smoothly

Well guys, 

the end is near. The end of the world. Don't you feel it? I feel it. You probably saw it coming. And I'm looking forward to it. Because every end is a beginning. A beginning of something new. And in this case also a beginning of something better. This site is transitioning. It is growing form its old and outworn design, its old habits and the lack of those, its way too small preview pics and its lack of overview to something fresh and new. The beta has been under the surface for a while now. It was growing, getting stronger and it's getting ready to be let out into the world, making it a new World of TG. It's a world with much better places for you, your art, your interests, you longings and your very individual personality. Everything has it's place, everything is within reach. You will find your place there and you fill find, that you are not alone. You are hundreds of thousands, that visit here every month. Within weeks now, the beta will surface, giving you what you all deserve. 

As for me, Viola, this will be the goodbye, but not a never to be seen again. It is, however the end to administrating this world. As my job responsibilities now affect hundreds of futures, my time left for this administration perishes more and more. And you deserve better. You deserve John. And you deserve, what you wish for deep down inside. You deserve a way to express it, to show it to the world and this is where the world will be able to see it much better than before. 

To all of you a heartfelt, really warm, really close and long hug. 

This is a very big part of my life's work. Treat it well. Support John. Help him run this. 

No 'thank you' can be good or great enough to express what I'm feeling.
